Myra, a sixteen year employee of Campbell County Public Safety was promoted on November 1, 2012 to Deputy Director for Communications. Myra has spent her career in Public Safety as a Communication Officer and then as a shift supervisor. She is also a DCJS instructor teaching at the Criminal Justice Academy. A lifelong resident of Appomattox, she is excited to serve Campbell County in her new capacity.
Myra is married to Donald Simpson, Chief Deputy of the Appomattox County Sheriff's Office, and together they have two sons.
