CCPLS has partnered with the Campbell County Branch of the NAACP to create a "Little-Known Histories" display. This will feature biographies and stories about historical figures that have often gone unnoticed. Each display will include signs, books, and bookmarks. Bookmarks will feature brief biographies about the subjects, as well as information about both CCPLS and the NAACP.
More information about books, as well as a link to the full list in our PAC, can be found on this page of our website. In addition, we've posted the list on the front page of the PAC and on the carousel of book lists on our app.
The display will rotate to each of the branches:
- Mid-January to mid-February: CCPL in Rustburg
- Mid-February to mid-March: PHML in Brookneal
- Mid-March to mid-April: SRML in Altavista
- Mid-April to Mid-May: Timbrook Library
If you are in charge of displays at one of our branches, please be prepared to give an adequate amount of space for this display during that time period.
Books will be put on hold for the Review account of each branch. If you have questions or issues, please reach out.
